I am selling my 1999 Volvo V70 station wagon. The vehicle has approximately 177,000 miles, but runs just as well as it did when I purchased it. The engine runs great, and the transmission shifts without issue. The car is an automatic with a reliable 5 cylinder engine. I have all service records for the vehicle, including information from the first owner (an older lady from Richmond that owned the car from 0 miles through 105,000). The service records will be transferred to the next owner. I am the second owner of the vehicle, and purchased the vehicle in 2007 from Mooer's Volvo in Richmond, VA. For a vehicle that has the carrying capacity of a large SUV, it gets great MPG! I usually get between 27-28 mpg. This is one of the last TRUE Volvo's! It is 100% Volvo parts, as opposed to the Volvo's made after they were bought out by Ford. Oil changed every 3k miles, and vehicle regularly serviced!

This is the luxury model of the car, so it features leather seats, heated seats (so nice to have in the winter!), a sunroof, a great sound system (sounds awesome!), and alloy wheels.
Interior: 8/10
-Leather! So easy to keep clean, and stay cool in the summer!
-All weather mats that are in practically new condition (purchased in 2007).
-No stains on any of the carpeted areas.
-Seats have NO tears or rips, but do show some wear (as would be expected for a vehicle of this age).
Exterior: 8/10 (obviously with the exception of the damage)
-Paint shines wonderfully! No issues with the clearcoat. Wax applied regularly, and I wash the vehicle at least once a month.
-A few door dings and scratches here and there, as would be expected with a vehicle of this age.
-NO dents (other than the isolated damage described below).
New parts:
-4 tires (appx. 400$, installed in September 2012 and have less than 5,000 miles on them).
-New ignition coil (January 2013).
-New thermostat and electronic coolant temperature sensor (July 2012).
-New alternator (January 2012).
-New spark plugs (January 2012).
-New tailgate latch (July 2012).
-New cabin air filter (January 2013).
Notes on the damage to the vehicle: The damage is centralized to the front left of the vehicle. The damaged body parts include: front bumper and foam insert, left front fender, and front turn signal. There is also damage to the radiator support, but it is mostly cosmetic and in no way affects the ability of the radiator support to support the radiator. If you were to repair the vehicle yourself, you may not need to replace this part. This is honestly not very difficult body work to complete, even for a novice. There is no frame damage, and the fender and bumper can be easily removed and replaced.
Additional minor issues:
-Check engine light is on (codes P0135 and P0136); these codes are for a heater circuit for the oxygen sensors (~100$ total). These sensors in no way affect the drivability of the vehicle, or the MPG. I would fix them, but I don't think the investment is worthwhile since their inoperation has not impacted the drivability of the vehicle.
-Rear passenger window motor is not functioning currently (appx. 50$ to replace).
-Needs new front and brake pads and front rotors to pass inspection in May (appx. 150$)
Reason for selling: I would repair the damage and keep the vehicle for many years to come, but I am heading to graduate school and will not need a car. The vehicle has served me very well over the past few years. I abide to the philosophy that if you take care of your car, it will continue to take care of you. So, you can expect that this vehicle has been well-maintained, and is in good mechanical condition. However, as it is a used vehicle, I obviously cannot provide a warranty for the vehicle. I do welcome individuals to have a mechanic check the vehicle out prior to purchasing. If you live in the Gloucester area, I have an excellent independent and inexpensive Volvo mechanic contact that I can link you up with.
Reason for the price: The Kelley Blue Book for this vehicle in excellent condition is $3,500. With the exception of the damage, this car is in exceptional condition and has been religiously maintained. I realize that I cannot expect that price given the condition of the vehicle currently, and so I offer the vehicle for 1900$ or best reasonable offer. I am under the impression that the purchaser of the vehicle will be someone knowledgable in basic body work, and will purchase the body parts from a junkyard (etc.) and replace themselves either to keep it, or to sell.
