My car came with Sumitomo tyres on the front and Optimo K406 Hankook tyres on the rear. The Sumitomos are 195/60R 15 88H but can't see anything else written on them on what type of Sumitomo they are.

Can someone please tell me how good quality these tyres are?

Are the rear ones good enough to be moved to the front and how should tyres be rotated if front ones don't match back (obviously so both are same on front and back but should they be swapped left to right?)

What type of tyres do others recommend as being good quality and suitable for the 850?

I am from Australia so certain o/s brands may not be available here.

Sumitomo is a "budget" Japanese tire and should be good for "all-season" performance use, depending of course on which model it is. We don't have the K406 here in the states, but I just looked it up and it appears to be a passenger "comfort" tire. I'd say they're both OK tires, not bad, but not the greatest thing out there.

As for rotation, if you choose to do it, they should be rotated in the pattern of FrontLeft to RearLeft, and FrontRight to RearRight.

People ask all the time, "What is the best type of tire?" It all depends on what type of driving you do, the climate you live in, how long you want them to last, and how much you want to pay. Let us know those things and I'll be able to narrow your choices down to a few tires.
