OBX to conical flange.

How to go faster, stop quicker, and turn harder. Chips, exhaust, larger turbos, bigger/slotted/drilled rotors, high performance brake pads, manual boost controllers, performance shocks/struts/springs, airbox mods and more! Also discussion on HID and Xenon lights, aftermarket foglights and other exterior lighting.

OBX to conical flange.

Post by DWhyle »

Getting ready to order an OBX turbo back for my '94 855t. It is my understanding that the '94 turbo has a conical outlet flange and the OBX dp will have to be modified to fit by cutting off the flange and welding on a flange to fit the conical outlet. If this is correct, where can I source the flange to fit the conical outlet?

I'm not sure that anyone makes an actual flange. You can either buy a straight or angled flange exhaust housing or cut the flange off your old downpipe. The conical flows less supposedly too. Angled being the most as you probably know.
