Bought my 1st Volvo about 2 months back, a 95 850 GLT Wagon. Don't know why it took so long as my wife has always wanted one. I can't thank this site enough for all the great DIY's and info. Have been able to get my true mileage, have new gear but not yet installed. Replaced my heater core - both floor wells were holding about 2 gals of coolant in the foam pad. Only took about a month to dry them out. Swapped out all the seats from a V70, except still need to do a cover swap on the passenger side since my car did not have the wiring for the powered donor seat. It only took me about two hours and a few choice words to figure out how to get the rear seat backs out... Also pulled a junkyard CD radio and was able to get the code for it from our local dealer. Changed out all it's bulbs with the Honda ones I found on E-bay for $1.00 each - they work perfect. Still need to do the headliner, liftgate clips and the PVC/EGR service.
I must say that after doing those things and driving it a bit, I'm looking for another, maybe a Turbo sedan 5-speed. Probably one of the most enjoyable cars I've ever worked on and this is certainly one of the best member sites I've been on, regardless of make. Looking forward to more Volvo fun !!!
