THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

Post by brink850 »

I have owned my '97 850 wagon for about 8 years and have enjoyed driving 90,000 of its 152,000 miles myself. I have read the MVS forum for help in the past but, until today, have never needed to actually join. However, after the events of this week, I felt I needed to join to say Thank You. I cannot thank you, Matt, and all the other members for the great information and advice I found on the forum over the last few days. With your help (especially "Ozark Lee", who seems to have answered many of the previous posts regarding fuel relay/pump issues) I was able to get my car running again after it refused to start in a hotel parking lot 100 miles from my house. I also received great service and parts from FCP Groton, as well as a discount for mentioning this site! I love my Volvo and I love your site. I feel privileged to be part of such a great community. Thank you, sincerely, JB

I completely agree! When I first bought my 11 year old C70 I was almost terrified to work on it. I had a fair bit of mechanical experience but mostly with old domestic pick ups. My first repair was replacing the ignition cylinder lock which I found the "how to" on this site and since than I am pretty sure this site has saved me a few grand.
