sunroof not working

just bought xc90 and sunroof is not working. i took of headliner panel and ran power directly to motor, found out that themotor works and sunroof still aporates. but.. the button on the head liner will not open the sunroof. i testes for power. when you push the button, some of the wires will get .4 or .5 volts. please help so i don't have to pay volvo 120.00 to tell me what is wrong.

Siren control module is shorted out time for a new one you will need to take it to the dealer to reconfigure after replacement

thanks. do you know where this module is located for me to replace? is it connected to the siren as part of the siren or is it seperate?
