I just wanted to know if anyone else experiences the same as me. I own a 2002 c70 convertible and I really love my car but it rattles & creaks over bumps. The windshield also, sometimes, makes a popping noise over sharp bumps. Is this a common issue with these convertibles???
If it is not common, please let me know what I need to do as I know the the mechanicals are in excellent shape with 108000 miles per my Volvo dealer. I did not purchase the purchased the vehicle at the dealer.

This is common with the whole 850/x70 series. They're full of rattles/squeaks.
Check out your strut mounts - grab the top of it and try to spin it. If it spins, you need new strut mounts, and may as well do the struts as well.
In addition, the dash clips break off over the years and make the dash rattle/smash around. You can remove the dash and fix it...but it's a TON of effort.

ALL convertibles rattle to some degree.
