81 Volvo 240 Turbo - No Go

This is my 1st, experience with a 1981Volvo 240 Turbo, tag on car says engine type B V V 130 CI. I don't see this code in the book or any place else, what do I have . I got this car to fix up and drive, it looks like it would be a fun driver. The head was off when I got it and needed work. Took it to a reputable machine shop and had the works done to it, standard stuff. My problem is the book I have shows the distributor running counter clock wise and mine runs clock wise. I've had it running a couple of times but not to it's potential. The distributor is maxed out in order for it to run then. I believe the timing with the fuel injector not together. Plugs will be wet after about 7-10 revs. It will fire once in awhile. I've had the timing belt off so many times and believe it's right on the money. I've had the distributor out so many times too. Plugs/Wires new Platimum .030 gap but I'm lost for the total reason. I'm stuck and really need the wheels, any help much appreciated and will thank you in advance. I'm also thinking of getting a 1973 I believe a 1600 series 2 door wagon kinda looks as if customised but is stock. What do ya think of this one?
