I Can't take it anymore!

ok, now that the cold weather has arrived, cold starts I got this loud, rubberized squeak that sounds like it's coming from the base of the windshield passenger side when in motion (2001 V70XC 145,000 km). Goes away when car has been driven to operating temperatures both interior & mechanically, so I can't figure out if this is an interior/glass issue, or front suspension noise transmitting into the car. I know the front right sway bar link is a little loose, but that's a klunking noise - this is definately a squeak. Is an upper strut bushing or spring seat capable of causing this sort of noise? Can some spray mechanic in a can cure this or does it require parts? This is not the way to start ones day. This is winter #3 with the car & this is a new problem....to add to a long list, but it's like nails on a blackboard. HELP!
