I've read several posts about checking the evaporator drain, which I found, and in this case, it, nor the tube connected to it, are clogged. The water is dripping from possibly a resevoir below the glove box (see picture). It has a black bottom, and the sides are kind of a milky white. On the right side of the black bottom, there is a maybe a 1/4" projection that I thought was a tube, but it is hard, and is where the water is dripping from (I have a clear container catching the water under it in the picture.) I have no part is. Any ideas?
It has been raining alot, but the water seemed too cool to be rain water. We just had the a/c fixed a couple of months ago after not working properly for about two years. Tired of taking it in to the shop, and want to fix this problem ourselves if we can. We just noticed the leak in the last couple of days.
Thanks, and let me know if you need any other information to help diagnose.
