Need Mechanic in Manhattan/Topeka, Kansas

Post by Sam Elm »

My daughter is at Kansas State and has her 1999 S70 - Non-Turbo (~120K Miles) with her. Need a good Volvo mechanic in Manhattan, KS or nearby (Junction City, Topeka) that will be straight up. I do some work myself, and have a local (St. Louis, MO) mechanic do most of the work, but it's just too far away from home. She's getting the ETM light along with hesitation, loss of power, etc. that comes along with it. She's also getting P1026, P1017, P1032, and P1053.

Thanks!

Sadly there isn't much in terms of people that know Volvo's, and particularly ETMs, until you get to suburban Kansas City. There is an independent Volvo specialist in Merriam, Kansas called Kansas City Autosport that I highly recommend. They are more or less on the SW corner of the intersection of I-35 at Shawnee Mission Parkway, just a few miles south of I-70. Their number is (913) 677-0707 and the guy to talk to is Tyler.
