1996 965 - edit: Power Steering questions again

I removed my steering hoses today and took delivery of the replacements.

Car has the cooling coil PS system and hose clamps holding the rubber hose from the return line of the rack, going through the coil, to another rubber hose back to the pump.

When I got my hose, the return line has a loooooooooong aluminum section, which my car definitely does not have. See attachment.

The part number for the hose for cars with the cooling coil seems to be the version above, which confuses me since there is no room for this hose in cars with the coil.

anyone here have some 960 power steering experience?
