2000 S80 T6 can't find source of oil leak
Hey everyone, I was changing my oil today and found that I have quite a big leak. I suspect it's the oil pan gasket but I wanted your opinions or experiences.

Hi,
Clean it down with some spray carb cleaner (chemtool B 12 is a favorite of mine). Remember to wear eye protection. Once clean we can see where its coming from.

Will do! I was looking through maintenance records and the previous owner had the pcv breather system replaced due to clogging. So I suppose that's eliminated as a source. I have a minor surging issue as well so I suspected that the pcv may have been the issue. Now I'm not sure.
