Numbers on the *&$%! Parts

Hi everyone,

I want to buy a used intake manifold for my 1998 S70 non-turbo M56, with Air Pump.
I do know the part number listed in VADIS for my car, but I noticed that the number printed on the intake manifold is different than what is listed in VADIS.
Also, I haven't seen another used intake manifold with the same number printed on my car or VADIS.

Anyone got an idea of what the heck the number stamped on my intake manfold is for?

I think you may be right, because I did a little more hunting and I noticed some more numbers on this part that were more in line with part number.
