Jumpstart doesn't work

Post by 97volvo850wagon »

Hello -- We have a 1997 850 Wagon. Our relatively new battery failed to respond to a jumpstart. The hazard and internal lights go on but the engine won't turn at all -- no noise. Any idea what could be wrong?

On the positive battery terminal there is a large red wire that goes to the battery . attached to the top is a cluster of smaller red wires . remove and clean all connections with baking soda paste.
