1999 V70 L5 Misfire No Codes

Post by heratio »

Hi all, i have a 1999 V70 L5 (low pressure turbo) FWD that seems to have a misfire, but is not trowing any codes. It was sitting for about 6 months without being started and was running fine before hand according to the previous owner, since i bought it i have replaced spark plugs, 2 bad coil packs, all the air sensors, 2 broken vac lines, PCV Full kit, ETM, oil, tranny fluid etc and flushed the injectors. I have just hosed it down with some brake cleaner to check for vac leaks and seems OK but she still smells very rich and the engine sounds like it is not firing right, the thing that has me lost is it is not throwing any codes which i would have expected. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated as I cannot think of another direction to go now.

thanks

Hi All,

Just been going though the interwebs trying everything i can find that could possibly be related and found alot of people suggesting MAF. I unplugged the maf and kicked it over to see if it runs better or and it starts, runs for 1 sec and turns off. if this normal, seems most people are saying it should run, and does this point to anything in particular? thanks
