1998 Volvo s70 glt, best location to use seafoam

I am pretty new to working on cars so I thought a little advice wouldn't hurt. I have been looking into using seafoam to try to get my car running a little smoother and would like to know if anyone has any advice as to which vacuum line should be used when using this product. If you have pictures that would be great.

Any port on the vacuum tree will work fine. I just use a chunk of spare vacuum line and slurp it in. Ideally you will suck it in to a point where the car wants to stall but just doesn't quite do it. I do it with a warm engine and then let it sit for about 15 minutes before firing it up again.

Be prepared for a huge smoke cloud for several miles. I'm fairly close to the highway and a couple of miles at highway speed will clear the smoke. You might want to do it at night if you have crabby neighbors.

Although it says it on the can, don't stall the engine. This thing fights hard to stay running, and I think stalling it might suck in too much liquid to a cylinder.

There's a vacuum line to the SAS valve on a 1998 up by the radiator - a yellow line into the vacuum tree. I used that one.

Alright that sounds easy enough. So basically any line that runs into the vacuum tree or into the block that has a suction?

You got it.

There are normally some open ports that just have a cap on them and I use one of those with a spare chunk of line to avoid stressing the other lines when they get removed from whatever the other device is.
