Oil Trap Change XC90
Oil Trap Change XC90
I changed the oil trap on my 2005 XC90 and got everything back together. When I took it apart I had to remove the thermostat to get at one of the bolts. Volvo does not sell the thermostat housing gasket so I made one. Now the car runs great, but does not blow hot air and the temperature gauge does not move off of cold. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Is it possible the thermostat is stuck open by a piece of the gasket on the inside?
Or just went bad (when is the last time it was replaced?)
