NEED HELP!!

hey guys i have 93 volvo 850 glt with 168horses

i tried to accelerate and my volvo doesnt go quick and from 1st to 2nd gear it cuts out on 5500rpm in sport mode

what can i check and replace to get faster something around 8-9 seconds

and more thing i have that security thing in dashboard but i dont have remote or anything

Duct tape a fuel pressure (or oil pressure where it reads between 10-70 psi) gauge to your windshield. Are you losing fuel pressure at high rpms? If so, possible clogged fuel filter.

If you have LED on dash, then purchase an OEM Volvo remote (not a cheap one you see all of the time on eBay). Your remote computer can be programmed to accept the new one that you purchased.
