1986 740GLE No Heat or A/C - Blower Fan not working

Hi All,

My 86 740 has the manual heat and A/C controls. Last fall the blower fan stopped working. Since then no heat or A/C. In winter, with heat controls set to full hot and while driving, heat can be felt coming from the vent that the control is set to (defrost, floor) just from air being pushed through from outside and heated. I have checked all fuses and searched the Haynes book for the location of any relays or other controls for the system, but can't find anything specific.

Have you any suggestions as to what to check next (and where to find it)?

The car may have a blower speed resistor assembly. It would most likely be mounted to the heater/ac housing to aid in cooling the resistor coils.
