my car is at the shop with a dead starter and battery and the mechanic is asking me for the securty code to open it. it has a key lock anyone know anythng about this?

If he's referring to the radio code, sometimes it's on a card in the front of the manual.
If not, a Volvo dealer can be called with the VIN number and will give you a radio code. If the radio has been changed, the numbers on the top of the radio can be given to them.
