1998 S70 T5 Unknown coolant leak only with heateroff, turbo?

Hi,

I tried to search other posts for this issue before creating this, but with no luck.

I have a small coolant leak (small steady stream) draining under the driver side rear of the motor, basically under the turbo, but I can't get a visual from above or underneath. The strange part, is if I start the car with the heater on full blast, it doesn't leak. It's only when I turn off the heat, and then it leaks withing 1 or 2 minutes. I put UV dye in this morning which I will try again tonight. Anyone have information about a line or hose that water might be diverting through once the heater is off? Could this be connected to the turbo in any way?

I just purchased the vehicle last week with full service records from a mechanic and this began three days after. Any help is much appreciated, thanks!

Josh

This car has several coolant hoses that carry coolant, none of which are effected by the heat being on or off. The car is equipped with a constant flow heater core which means coolant is ALWAYS flowing through it.

That side of the car has 2 heater hoses going into the firewall and 1 hose coming out of the turbo.

back side of the motor you have a 2 inch piece of rubber hose going to the turbo. I bet that failed
