98 s70 brake vibration

I have a vibration and noise (rumble) when braking. It only occurs during the last part of braking (approx 15mph to 0 mph). the car has 60K miles,
front premium pads are 1 1/2 yrs old with lots of pad left, rear pads and all rotors are original.
What could be causing this?

Sounds to me like your rotors warped... the only part that doesn't fit in the story is non symptoms above 15mph. Perhaps the vibration is so fast before 15mph that you don't feel it?

Warped rotors will usually let themselves be known by a pulsing pedal and slight shake to the steering wheel. Does that jive with what you've got?

recently had the wheels taken off? maybe they werent tightened properly. On cars with an amount of toe not going in a diagonal pattern can lead to tightening of the bolts while on an angle when leads to lose fitting when on the ground and in the end sheared wheel studs or warped rotors (both of which have happened on the racecar!
