yes does the etm issues apply to cars built in 98? Is there a vin number listing?

Look at the dash with the ignition switched on, if it has an ETS caption them it has an ETM, otherwise look under the hood, the N/A models are easy to spot the ETM bolted to the end of the inlet manifold, the turbo versions are bit more difficult as the ETM is under the inlet manifold - Mike
