98 s70 fixing door handle

In the past 2 hours ive learned more about volvo locking systems than I ever needed to know.
Basically. I bought a cheap actuator for front passenger today. My actuator was stuck open and didnt lock the door. So when I bought the vehicle I paid a mobile mechanic to disable the door handle just to keep the car locked.

So in a attempt to get the car ready for the new actuator I wanted to reenable the door handle. But I could not figure it out. I remove actuator and the handle to see how it worked. The last I remember all he did was flicked something to the side and it prevented it from working. Heres some pictures maybe I could get some help

The exterior front passenger door handle was disabled by a mechanic. How do I re enable it? Does that yellow brass circle go in the hole of the handle? Is there a schematic for the handle and what its supposed to move?

Its pretty clear. basically I am connecting a exterior door handle to the actuator. What part of the actuator does it latch up to?

The latch assembly has the knob on top of the brass pivot arm. The part of the handle that goes in the door cups that knob.

You need to have the latch loose in order to get the door handle to engage the latch. Once the lip on the handle is engaged with the latch then you can draw the latch back with the screws and then tighten the handle. You will usually need to loosen the lower window guide to get enough slack.
