New Shoes!

Post by ThinAir »

All Winter long I have been buying 17" Comet wheels one by one. After having all four staring at me for the last three weeks I couldn't take it any longer and I pulled the trigger on getting them mounted up. Gone are the Blizzaks and Perfos for the next eight months and here just in time for Spring are Ingrid's new shinny Comets wrapped in Nitto Motivos. I looked hard at the Continental Extreme Contacts and Bridgestone 970Pole Positions, but after much deliberation I went with the Nittos. Will let you know what I think mid Summer.

Beautiful.
Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.

Also -> Amazon link
. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!

Thanks Matt! You've been a great resource and support. My car has slowly come up to stage 0 and looks thanks to you and your site.

Great to hear :-).

For those who haven't seen ThinAir's T5M, which I assume is 99%+ of us, it's really special because it's entirely stock -- except for the wheels -- and in excellent condition. And of course it's a manual trans. He took me for a spin a couple times and it pulls very nicely.

For anyone with an automatic, think twice about witnessing manual Volvo turbos at WOT. You WILL start planning a manual swap, and maybe even start looking at Craigslist.com with "manual Volvo" as search keywords.
