Keyless Entry Module Computer Unit ECU ECM 9166198

Purchase an Alarm Module last year and installed it. The Door Locks have been working intermittently. Probably the Door Lock Actuators need some help also.

The question is do I need the Keyless Entry Module above for the Keyless FOB to work and if so where is this Module located? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure it is located on top of the cluster, however, the remote would have to be dealer programmed.

What is going on with the remote?

I found the guts of the Remote along with the broken Alarm Module in either the Arm Rest Console or Glove Box when I purchased it. The Remote has a new case, battery and both Home Depot and O'Reilly's testers shows it is signaling. That is all I know about the condition of the Remote.

When you say Cluster do you mean the Speedo dash display assembly?

Yep, top of the instrument cluster that is under the dash pad with all of the driving info.
