2004 S60 small leak at radiator after transmission flush

Post by SkyVolvo »

I just performed a full flush on my S60 (good lord was it overdue, but I can blame that on the previous owner). Everything went wonderfully and I didn't even make a mess.

But after hooking the return line back up to the radiator and running the car, I have found a tiny droplet of transmission fluid right under where the return line hooks up. I cleaned it and found it again after driving later that day, too.

I used a new clip and new o-rings, both Volvo, so I was hoping not to have this issue. Is the only solution to go back and replace the o-rings again?

Make sure you don't have any debris or deposits around o-rings.
