can't adapt all gears on v70

I posted couple of weeks ago when I was having trouble getting into adaption mode, well managed that now but couple of the gears didn't adapt neither would down shifts but all seemed smooth so didn't worry to much but won't adapt between neutral, reverse and drive, get a delay then a jolt when selecting drive, any suggestions or is box too far gone now, have done 2 fluid drains and refill and replaced b4 servo cover and got latest software, thanks

The earlier 5 speeds have sluggish solenoids caused by 2 internal bushings that collect metallic material.

The solution is to either replace them or clean them out with a Trango kit. I've done 3 of these so far and pleased with results however it's a one day job and involves dropping the front left hand corner of the subframe so the front transmission cover can be removed.
Doing this will prolong the life of the transmission and allow it to fully adapt.
