2003 S60 2.4 T Electronics Question

Post by maddog2020 »

It seems like there are at least 3 major electronic components involved in the process of driving the car. The Engine Control Module (ECM), Central Electronics Module (CEM), and the Transmission Control (TCU). I'm curious as to which of these units, maybe all, would be involved in operating the cruise control. Clearly the ECM is involved, and likely the TCU as well. How about the CEM?

Thanks in advance,

Ian

Aren't the inputs from the driver fed through the CEM...in which case the CEM is involved of course
