1994 Volvo 850 Turbo CARPET

Anyone wanna locate and/or sell me their volvo 850 compatible molded floor carpet (sedan) preferably (black)? Local auto upholstery show wants $450, is that too much?

You should post up a carpet wanted ad in the parts section - Im guessing thats a 25 dollar part at a pick and pull.....in good shape..

Also black may look weird with your tan interior.

I have a few options for you.
Also it is tragic that the leather was darker than the rest of the interior until late '95. I think it was also a cheaper grade.

All of the seats in my '93 are from '96 850s. I paid $12 for the carpet at the junkyard. It took some time to get the seats and molding out of the carpet donor car to bring the inexpensive carpet home. I did not need those seats. It did feel better after the new carpet went into the sedan.

I took a long summer afternoon to shampoo the carpet outside and dry in the sun. Good luck my friend.

: New shifter, console parts and carpet give a new perception and feeling of pleasure.

Stay with beige as mentioned above. I'm just saying it will look nice again if you see carpet in better shape.

If the carpet is in otherwise OK shape and you want to get rid of the "faded to pink" problem you might want to try a dye. I used a dye on my daughter's old Porsche 944 and it really came out nice. I think I used a SEM aerosol product but I can't remember for sure. It was definitely in a rattle can and it was easy to apply.
