1994 850 turbo-PS fluid spurting from upper pump flare nut

Post by IG-88A »

Noticed the steering getting uncommonly stiff. Drove home and only had time to lift the hood and notice power steering fluid spewing from between the flare nut and the hard line before grabbing the wagon and heading out to an engagement. As I sit here researching on my phone, I can't determine if there are o-rings, crush washers, or anything between the line and the pump in this particular location. I'm finding info on o-rings between the lines and the rack though. If I was at home, I'd simply disassemble and have a look. But I'd like to grab a part on my way home if possible. Is there a washer or o-ring between the upper steering line and the pump on 850s? Or do I simply need to reflare the line and snug it back up?
