2007 S80 Test Blower Resistor/Power Unit?

2007 S80 Test Blower Resistor/Power Unit?

Finally got that resistor module removed - tough to get at. Is there a way to test it, or bypass it to check the blower motor prior to dropping it? Hate to go through everything to remove the blower if it is only the power unit faulty. Thanks for any input.
