oil leaking turbo charger

I just purchased 760 turbo-its leaking oil through a hole in the turbo and smoking like an oil burner-consumption about 4-500 mi/liter. What's the deal? I thank you in advance for diagnosis/advice

well, you can either get a new one or get your old one rebuilt.
