2002 S40 VADIS/DiCE

Post by Lou_Reed »

Where is the best place to get VADIS/ DiCE? I am alking about speed of delivery as well as price?

It seems thte lowest price is from website in China. Maybe, but think of the delivery time.

It's VIDA DICE not Vadis.

Ali Express seller Shenzhen Zeuss sells for around $95 and delivers with DHL in around 3-4 days. Seller contact there is Mandy Deng. She has sent 5 or 6 of them to me and all have worked brilliantly. During the purchase process Mandy always answers questions and keeps you informed of the shipping day and tracking details.

The system arrived yesterday. There are no printed instruction, only a disk.

I assume the instructions are on there.

Is there also a quick start?

Thanks in advance.

Okay, what are the system requirements forr VADIC/DiCE? I got the system (computer and software) a few days ago and I tried to install the software last night.

It started off okay, checking for disk sspace etc., but it failed at the last moment saying some component did not meet VADIS/DiCE requirements.

But it did not say which componet it was! It just stopped!

Any help appreciated.

I have a Dell laptop with Windows 7 on it. I think that I have all of the service packs installed.

Thanks in advance.

I am not sure about the ram. I can find out.

Now as to what version of Windows 7, I would guess home version since I bought it at Best Buy and
Windows 7 was part of the purchase. Buy the laptop and get Windows 7 preinstalled.

Hope this is helpful.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Right click on the My Computer icon and go to the Properties option. System Properties will appear. Look at the second tab.

Alternatively look in Control Panel and find System (you may need to change view options so all the icons appear)

Both RAM fitted and version appear.

If you're running Home version better to drop the computer and Vida disc off with an IT person. They'll need to edit registry settings to make Vida believe it's Professional.

Hope this helps.

Another path is to use VMware image. The DiCE driver needs to be native to you comp., but it isn't sensitive to OS.
