98 V70 AWD Fuel Trim Numbers

Post by rmmagow »

My car has been running for the past 2500 miles with no codes. It is running a little better each week, little more performance, better throttle feel etc. I have an old program from ScanTool on a PC that I want to hook up to watch fuel trim numbers. What exactly does one look for examining fuel trim? I also will be recording O2 sensor fluctuations but sort of think I should replace them due to age at 221,000. I'm sure they've been done at some point but not by me and I've had the car since 155K.
I do know about disco the battery and short the connectors for a time to bring fuel trim to base but don't want to jinx my "No Codes" . 23.7 MPG, 1450 miles mixed driving.
