As a former Saab 900 owner, I always wanted to like the 9-3.
I just couldn't get into it. So I switched to the Volvo side
I test drove a 1998 S70 (well, several) and a 1999 9-3, then a 2001 9-3 SE (HPT version) back to back. I liked the regular 9-3 better than the laggy SE, but the S70 was just a much, much better car to drive.
