1997 850 T5 oil on top of the crank case

Post by Meowta »

Have a 97 850 Turbo that runs great but..noticed oil on top of the crank case and coming from dipstick. Replaced Oil cap, PCV box, made sure all hoses and ptc nipple were clean. (Nothing showed any signs of being clogged). After all that, when car is running at idle and warm, if you put a latex glove in place of the oil cap, it fills with air about half way but when we rev up the motor, the glove does deflate and get pulled back in. Is it normal for it to have pressure at idle and for the vacuum to only kick in when rpms go up? Turbo was replaced by dealer and has only a few thousand miles on it. This car appears to be very clean and well maintained. Hoses were clean, no clogs. Any suggestions??
