Miles?

I'd look at it.
Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.

Also -> Amazon link
. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!

I'd look at it. If you have a mechanic, bring him with you or take the car to him.

As stated above, what is the mileage? No mention of any brake or suspension work, tires are half worn at least. 1994 automatic transmission, that would be one concern. Also, the car has no licence plates on it and the seller sounds like a used car salesman, plus, that doesn't look like South Surrey to me.....??

The car looks clean and the price is right but all I am saying is go in with open eyes, good luck.

Looks like a well kept car. Make sure he can validate the timing belt change. Make sure to check the A/C, rear main seal and smoke from the dipstick when you see it.

I always am leery of Craigslist posts that list all the good an none of the bad, and no engine pics.

I would also be leery of the transmission "flush". If it was done at some shop with no knowledge of volvo trans issues, you could be looking at a large repair soon.
Make sure all the lights come on on the dash too. Prev owner of mine said the check engine light "burned out" and I just got done redoing the head gasket. :-\
Also, look at the odometer and the trip odo. If the trip is all zeroes, watch the odo when you drive. Make sure it turns mileage. Wouldn't be a bad idea to look in the repair database and find the procedure for reading the mileage off of the obd1 system to verify it's true mileage.
Looks like a clean car, hope it ends up being as good as it sounds.

Looks very nice to me. I'd look at it and try to find out if it has had a heater core replaced anytime lately. Make sure the CEL works and try to test drive it at least 20 miles.

Looks like you have an oppertunity to get a great car for a great price...Of course, turn your own wrenches or you won't be able to afford the maintenance.
