1997 volvo s70 tdi light grey smoke

Hello guys,

My name is Paulo from portugal and i am a huge volvo fan ('o89 245, '70 142 , '97 s70 and had a bunch of 900), well My tdi had -10 degrees timming when i bought it, hard start was the main symptom. Later with the pc software we managed to advance timming to 2 degrees , the correct timming advance. Now the cars starts fine, pulls perfectly and wastes no oil neither water, however when stopping on a light or idling for some minutes, when i pull it there is lots of light grey smoke....... If i continue pulling it stops and if i pull some seconds minutes later driving, there is absolutely no smoke. When stopped i just get the normal smoke for these cars
