1995 850 Check Engine Light code 433

Post by 95bolvo »

This code indicates a rear knock sensor signal. How can this be fixed ? Is it a difficult fix or is it something I can do ? Thanks, Kenny

I think the knock sensors are under the intake manifold, think PCV job. I'm not 100% sure about your particular year but once you get by the intake removal replacing the knock sensor and probably its harness wouldn't be that hard. Knock sensors are especially sensitive to the torque used to install them, observe you settings carefully when installing a new one.
