2000 S70 Transmission Change
I have a Volvo 2000 S70 transmission, and I have a Volvo 2000 V70 transmission. The transmissions are the same but the wire connectectors(the end of wires that are connected to the transmission) are different. I know that one is connected to the shift solenoid. My question is can all the wires on the transmission be changed from the V70 to the S70 with out causing any problems with the computer.

There are 5 small solenoids and 3 large ones; a total of 8 solenoids under the cover if both transmissions are 5 speeds. Are both cars non turbos?
The wiring harness can be swapped from one to the other if tje valve body cover is removed however be careful that both valve bodies are exactly the same with no letter markings.
