2001 Volvo S60 with 158,000 miles - - is it worth it?
I have an opportunity to get a 2001 S60 (158,000 miles, allegedly highway miles). I like the S60 but after reading some posts on the forum, I am starting to wonder if this will be a good buy. I hope to drive this car for a couple of years.
Considering the S60 has a lot of miles, is it worth it? More importantly, what things should I look out for in such a car with high mileage? (timing belt, tires, axles, brakes, rotors, etc.) I plan to take the car to a dealer or mechanic to check it out before I buy it.
Any help, advice, comments or whatever will be appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

"Worth it" is a comparison between the car and a sum of money, so we can't answer that if we don't know how much $ we're talking about.
for instance:
$5000 - yes
$15000 - no
Anything in between then is a grey area where it depends on what kbb.com says for its value, if they have the service records, if it's one-owner car, if it checks out with a mechanic, etc.
