94 850 turbo what should vacuum gauge read

Post by skloon »

Using torque on my tablet and wonder what the vacuum readings should be at idle and when driving, I get around 23 at idle and down to zero at near full throttle- I assume the zero is correct but I have been wrong before

Those torque apps do not work properly. The car does not report the data to the OBD2 port.

I have that app. and it does read the boost level, and vacuum very close to accurate albeit with a slight lag time in communication, through the OBDII port.

I have since installed a quality, digital/analog boost gauge and had watched them both simultaneously.

The readings were almost identical, aside from the lag.

I am not saying it is a professional piece of gear to bet your best dollar on, just a reference.
