S80 AWD 2004-Groaning noise after brake job

I recently had my S80 AWD in for a brake job (they also replaced my defective steering wheel). When I picked up the car and drove off I noticed a groaning noise when I turned and immediately went back and told them something was wrong. They had the car for two days now and can not figure out the problem and are going to call Volvo on Monday. They claim it isn't anything they did that the noise is just a coincidence. I'm not buying that but I don't know what it could be, except that the noise is mechanical. Does anyone out there have a clue what they could have done wrong here. There was nothing wrong with the car when I took it in.
