2000 s70 GLT Right side engine mount--need PN#

Post by Matty Moo »

I put new control arms on the car today and noticed the Passenger side engine mount was toast, I could tell when I was driving it anyway.

I need to order one but things online aren't jiving as far as which one to order.

Now....I have the 2-bolt control arms and it's FWD. I don't want to go back out and take the wheel off to snap a pic of it, but I may have to. I was already out there earlier and it wasn't exactly warm out. and....I can't get VIDA to load up on my laptop.

Depends on your ch#...
Trust me, I was just on that exact same page an hour ago. I ended up going outside and snapping a pic of it and getting my chassis number. It's an OEM only part from what I can find so far as I have chassis # 644267

It's confusing to me for some reason. I have the 2-bolt control arms/subframe but I have zero choices on the part, OEM only. I have free time on Friday so I'm going to take the mount off of my 98 s70 and put them side by side to see exactly what is different. I planned on going to the JY anyway that day, if I get lucky and they have both there then I'll do it then.

I was able to take a pic without taking the wheel off at least, I just turned the wheel all the way to the left and was able to get in there with my phone.

I replaced the one on my friend's 2000 S70SE years ago, vaguely remember the foot dimension is narrower than my 850's.
Sorry can't be more helpful.

No problem, this just seems odd to me. Reason being why would they change something...anything for that matter when it was basically at the end of the cycle for that particular vehicle. 2000 was it for that body style. So we have two different mounts for the same engine and subframe, then some of the cars used the 4-bolt arms and some used the 2-bolt arms.

I'm going to figure this out.
