1998 S/V70 DRL settings on Headlight switch.

The lights are set to DRL on my '98 XC. I know the small screw on the front is used for that. I plan on not having it that way.
(Daytime Running Lights)

What are the three settings, A,B,C on the backside of the switch for.

I thought I would ask before I start experimenting.
I am imagining European, Canadian, US maybe?

: I believe the screw is either on or off DRL if I am not mistaken.

: What is this three position slider for?

That is a thread that had my exact question answered by several folks from different parts of the world.

I will use what I have learned today, and let on to my results.
