Fuel Economy today

Post by matthew1 »

On the highway, starting the trip meter MPG function after getting up to speed, I got 33.0 mpg for 60 miles to my destination, then 33.3 mpg on the same 60 miles coming back home.

No stopping, slowing, turning... just pure highway miles.

I used a very light foot also :-).
Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.

Also -> Amazon link

I have 2001 S60 T5 with Manual Gearbox, well if i drive 100-110 km/h then it takes 6,5-7 litres per 100 km. In city ~8,5, but usually Im driving ~130-150 km/h and then it takes 9l/100km.

Im living in northern europe, so i prefer manual gearbox, smoother and acceleration is much more better and definetly drivting with handbrake ;)
Real family man:

Volvo S60 T5 with manual gearbox and XC70 2.5T AWD
