I am considering purchasing a 2004 V70R with 120K miles - and have read about this car having
transmission problems-also any other problems I should look for?

What do I need to look for before I purchase it?

Not necessarily
No different than a 2004 XC70
Check the fluid

My 2004 V70R has 220K miles and trans is perfect.
