Looking for Georgia pick & pull and Indy Volvo shop

Hey MVS Members,

I live in North Georgia and am looking for a good pick and pull yard for my V70 and a good independent Volvo shop.

I cannot seem to find any in the mountains of Georgia and travel to Atlanta is not a problem. Please lend your knowledge, I do appreciate it.

Professional Automotive Repair in Marietta are pretty good, and there are a couple of parts places off of Howell Mill Rd in Atlanta. You of course will only come out ahead if you do the work yourself, and source what you can via the internet. Those things that you look for are priced accordingly anywhere you go. There was a guy in NW Ga around Lafayette that I used to hear about, purported a real Volvo expert.

Did you have a look in the Mechanics sub-forum? I'll let this thread collect data for a few days then trip a P0666 error code and move it there....

I am still learning the in's and out's of the forum. Performed a few searches looking and came up empty.

To date I have performed all work myself and ordered all my parts online. If come across an issue I cannot handle it needed a nearby shop that I could call on. Just wanting to be prepared.

I understand Chattanooga has/had a few yards that kept Volvo salvage.

Try checking website "Row 52" it is a pick n' pull database. Not all inclusive, but it has saved me almost as much as this forum!
